These part–time career positions are not designed as vacation clerkships or to provide temporary student employment.
We advertise vacancies through the Western Australian law schools, generally in February / March each year. We hold a free information session at UWA in early March and applications usually close in mid-March.
Applications must be made via our cadetship page. We welcome applications at any time. We will hold your application on file until our next intake.

We employ, or have previously employed, graduates in law, marketing, accounting, business administration, web development and applications development.
You will have the potential to be a talented business professional with considerable personal qualities, commitment and enthusiasm. We will provide you with the resources that you need to conduct yourself as a professional.
Depending on the position, you will work in one or more multi-disciplinary teams which will include business owners, lawyers, legal executives and our web site and software application developers.
As a general rule, to be eligible for the program you must have a bachelor degree from an Australian university, preferably in Law, Arts, Economics, Commerce, Business or Computer Science. University students completing the final semester of their degrees are welcome to apply. We would expect you to work for us on a part-time basis while you complete your degree; and thereafter on a full-time basis.

Chandler Macleod is a leading human resource consultancy providing similar services to a wide range of clients in the resources, manufacturing, retail and professional sectors. We have retained them for more than 20 years.
The tests are conducted at their local offices and take about three hours. There may also be an interview conducted independently of the tests.
We will arrange for you to discuss the report with Chandler Macleod on a confidential basis should you wish to do so. We treat this information as confidential and will destroy it if ultimately you do not accept the position.
