| Biography | Bethany is the principal lawyer involved in the delivery of our Family Law Resolution services where she assists clients with consent and property-based services including financial agreements, applications for consent orders, property transactions and divorce applications. Since joining our team in 2011, Bethany has acquired considerable experience in real estate settlements and property dealings in our busy Flat Rate Settlements division. Bethany is responsible for the firm's commercial property settlements, off-the-plan contract matters and subdivision applications. She drafts applications, contracts, easements and other land development documents and advises clients on matters including the transfer duty implications of their projects. Bethany also undertakes criminal and traffic law matters including applications for extraordinary driver's licences. She has received much positive feedback from satisfied customers. Bethany completed bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce at the University of Western Australia in 2015. Her Commerce majors are in Employment Relations and Human Resource Management. Bethany was admitted as lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in August 2015. She is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of WA and the Law Society of WA. |

In her seven years with Birman & Ride she has developed her skills in various roles including lawyer, team leader, HR manager, business analyst, salesperson and marketing manager. In the legal sphere, Lucy is responsible for supervising the firm's Wills, probate, estate administration and real estate settlements departments. Lucy serves clients directly in more complex matters in these areas as well as in property and commercial law. Lucy's high standards, ability to lead and inspire others and facility with computerised information systems have been instrumental in the firm bringing new and innovative legal services to the market. Working side-by-side with technology partner ContactsLaw, Lucy developed systems that enabled Flat Rate Settlements to dramatically reduce costs and improve service quality. Leveraging these benefits and its flat-rate pricing model, the firm brought revolutionary change to the conveyancing industry in Western Australia. Recently, Lucy has led the development the firm's on-the-spot services - advanced interactive instruction forms enabling the delivery of many consumer legal services and court applications in one client consultation. An experienced property lawyer, Michael has acted on the sale of farms, St George's Terrace office towers and everything in between. Michael's business objective is to offer a wide range of consumer legal services that are accessible, competitively priced and delivered to a high standard. Michael is the chairperson of the Board of a local Independent Public Primary School. He is a trustee of the charitable fund of Fremantle Chamber Orchestra Pty Ltd and the orchestra's principal clarinet. He is the web editor of several other community groups. In her seven years with Birman & Ride she has developed her skills in various roles including lawyer, team leader, HR manager, business analyst, salesperson and marketing manager. In the legal sphere, Lucy is responsible for supervising the firm's Wills, probate, estate administration and real estate settlements departments. Lucy serves clients directly in more complex matters in these areas as well as in property and commercial law. Lucy's high standards, ability to lead and inspire others and facility with computerised information systems have been instrumental in the firm bringing new and innovative legal services to the market. Working side-by-side with technology partner ContactsLaw, Lucy developed systems that enabled Flat Rate Settlements to dramatically reduce costs and improve service quality. Leveraging these benefits and its flat-rate pricing model, the firm brought revolutionary change to the conveyancing industry in Western Australia. Recently, Lucy has led the development the firm's on-the-spot services - advanced interactive instruction forms enabling the delivery of many consumer legal services and court applications in one client consultation. Lucy's innovations have changed, and will continue to change, the way lawyers do business. Lucy's favourite role, however, is mentoring and coaching law undergraduates and junior lawyers and assisting them with their professional development. Lucy co-ordinates the firm's in-house professional training program and spends much of her time pondering how the firm and its junior employees can grow together for mutual advantage. | Biography | Michael has been a partner of Birman & Ride since 1 July 2009. He leads the firm's family and property law teams which offer a broad range of services including real estate settlements, property and commercial law, family law, wills, estate planning, probate and estates. The firm is a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, law cadets, website and application developers. An experienced property lawyer, Michael has acted on the sale of farms, St George's Terrace office towers and everything in between. Michael's business objective is to offer a wide range of consumer legal services that are accessible, competitively priced and delivered to a high standard. Michael is the chairperson of the Board of a local Independent Public Primary School. He is a trustee of the charitable fund of Fremantle Chamber Orchestra Pty Ltd and the orchestra's principal clarinet. He is the web editor of several other community groups. Nigel has taken his skills and experience to other intellectual pursuits. In 2013, he was a Grand Finalist in the 2013 UWA Open Mooting Competition and a Quarter Finalist in the Kirby Contract Law Moot. In 2014, he represented UWA in mooting at the Australia Law Students’ Association Conference and was a Grand Finalist in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal National Mooting Competition. | Biography | Bethany is the principal lawyer involved in the delivery of our Family Law Resolution services where she assists clients with consent and property-based services including financial agreements, applications for consent orders, property transactions and divorce applications. Since joining our team in 2011, Bethany has acquired considerable experience in real estate settlements and property dealings in our busy Flat Rate Settlements division. Bethany is responsible for the firm's commercial property settlements, off-the-plan contract matters and subdivision applications. She drafts applications, contracts, easements and other land development documents and advises clients on matters including the transfer duty implications of their projects. Bethany also undertakes criminal and traffic law matters including applications for extraordinary driver's licences. She has received much positive feedback from satisfied customers. Bethany completed bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce at the University of Western Australia in 2015. Her Commerce majors are in Employment Relations and Human Resource Management.
